LA…tens days after Obama

So logically, the first place to start any medical examination of the world’s health, is the city of angels, LA>>> and in slides the thermometer…. more under the world’s tongue that up its sphincter, I hasten to add.

Don’t believe all the hype about double-decker super planes like the A380…..sure , its a sort of movie marathon experience mixed in with the odd feed, but live sheep carriers can get the stock on and of the ship faster than you can get on and off a super plane. Processing 


punters through security , customs and immigration is like shitting a 20 kg pumpkin through the eye of the needle. It has it’s limitation. And don’t jump at all the legroom of an exit seat, as the micro climate there is positively Antarctic, whilst the rest of the passengers can be dressed for the Bahamas.dsc06487.JPG

LA…what can I say….its just has that vibe. The last time , and the first time, I landed here 27 years ago, with a  charming girlfriend, who shall remain nameless, ( whilst Homeland Security has a scanner) we arrived and may well have been on the tarmac, but I was still flying. The conversation that led to this unexpected altitude, started with something like, ‘WHAT THE HELL? YOU SURELY AINT GUNNA TRY AND TAKE THAT STUFF THROUGH CUSTOMS ARE YOU?” The answer was no. The solution was consumptive and compulsory. In the back toilet, of an old Jumbo in the ‘80’s….back in the Bush pre-paranoia era.
